Debit and cash.
The food and coffee is always good here. The staff are super helpful
Their DIY noodles are a staple. Their drinks are truly the best. Their slushies and lemon ribena are a must have.
Chinese cafe style food. What can i say? Its self explanatory just good food and a variett of foods to satisfy and craving. Usually just make my own noodles from the menu but curry is also great!
Friendly staff, good food, good service
Very friendly staff, made us feel welcome immediately. Food portion was big and price was reasonable. I am impressed!
A nice hongkong style Cafe with lots of selection. We only tried a few things. One of the local favorites. Will of back when we visit Vancouver again.
One of my favorite places to grab a quick bite. Food is great, prices are reasonable, service is always good. Have yet to have a bad experience at cattle. Although they changed the reward redemption, I still think it's a good system.
I have been going to Cattle Cafe for many years... the food and choices there are great. My whole family loved it so much. Especially their friendly and cozy environment and wonderful first class services by their manager, Eric! I highly recommend this restaurant! ðŸ‘
Service was quite decent for an Asian restaurant. Food wise, The make-your-own soup had solid flavour. Overall a pretty good value Chinese place.
Never need to line up, service is fast, order is always correct. And prices are very reasonable for what you get. Oh, and the food tastes great!
This location is spacious but service is slow or nonexistent, you have to ask to put in your order several time or to get the bill. Most ks the restaurant is empty and waitress refuses to let us sit at a booth. Food is decent. I like their hand squeezed fish noddles with tomato and beef but no longer available now they have a satay version
Good varieties of food. Comfortable dining environment.
Delicious rib sticking grub in a comfortable spacious setting with uber friendly staff. Sirloin is usually a tough cut of meat but here the serving was wonderfully tender. I like the way there are unique health conscious options in the menu.
Food tastes good, however, when doing take out the portion is very little for the high price ($16+). Very inconsistent. I always order the same dish, but sometimes I only get half the amount of food (see photo). Better portions plus free basic drinks are offered when dining in.
Standard taiwanese food though I do like their laksa with fish noodle in soup.
Their Malay Laksa soup is really good. They have good seating arrangement and good interior. However, they don't accept credit or debit cards. Only cash.
Great food at a good price. Noodle soup combo is what I always order. Servers are definitely burnt out and tired though.
Service has greatly improved. Food is good.
Can't go wrong with Cattle Cafe. There are a variety of dishes inspired by various Asian cuisines, but our go-to is the build-your-own noodle option. Also, the mini cattle toasts are highly recommended.Affordable and delicious.
Nice variety of Chinese dishes including noodle soups that you can costume, rice dishes, snacks, and drinks. They are mainly known for their custom noodle soups which are decent but the rest of the food is mediocre at best - most of the dishes are subpar versions of what you can get from many other Hong Kong cafes or bubble tea places. Place is also cash-only.
Quality was going down but finally improving starting past few months.
Just ok HK Style café. Comfortable seating. Nothing really special about this place. Satisfied my hunger in a not cheap price point. Above average rating for me. No hurry back.
Portion sizes are pretty nice and customization options are a bonus.
Good for a quick bite. Casual atmosphere and reasonably priced
Very fast service. Portions are large. Very tasty. This place can be super busy so we came at 530 and no wait.
I haven't been to cartel caffe since 2012 cause at the time we heard it's moved to Richmond or closed or somthing but today after about 7 years I returned and I was impressed with new manu and the quality of the food and the large portion of the dinner they served I couldn't finish It had to take it to go the the quality is food has improved greatly in comparison to year 2012 however the prices went up a few bucks a plate since 2012 after all u pay for what u get but over all its new manu it's delightful and new entry dinner recommend it
Food is excellent. Eric service is awesome. ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
Good solid HK style cafe with suprisingly good service recently in addition to their varied menu items. Enjoy all their set meals with a hot drink included. Very filling and reasonably priced. Their "Build Your Own Noodle Soup" combo with your choice of meats amd noodles etc is always a favourite in colder months.
Typical hk style cafe. Prices a bit more expensive than other places. Otherwise food was okay.
Wait staff are patient, nice, and make sure you have everything you need. Portions are nice. Food quality is good as well. atmosphere can feel quite hectic sometimes, especially during peak hours. Prices are just a little higher than what you'd expect, but nothing too major.
Delicious Hong Kong style restaurant.
Good food, pleasent staff...
One of my favorite HK style cafe. This is a chain restaurant. But for some reason, this location feels the best for me. Very extensive menu. Good quality food. Reasonable service. Reasonable prices. The only downside is that they don't take credit cards. Cash or debit only. This is not a problem for me personally, as I understand that the margin for a restaurant business is thin, and these 'reward' cards people like to use have high fees.
food came in a couple minutes when i ordered. my dish was baked? so did they just like have an extra one they made earlier and microwaved it? there's no way they could've made the dish within two minutes lol. also my friend's food is also cold.
Lots of selection on the menu which is great but takes me a longer time to decide what to eat. Casual vibe in the restaurant, usually no lineup for a table. Food is good
Quality is finally improving. Will come back again.
First and foremost, I was greeted right away as I entered the restaurant. The service was amazing. They came promptly whenever I needed them, especially the manager Eric. The food was delicious and everything arrived surprisingly fast.Definitely recommend this place!!
I like the way you can order the noodle soup the way you want it. I find some of their broths don't have much flavor and the consistency from visit to visit varies. The staff are friendly and attentive.
Meh quality, more expensive than before
Came to Cattle Cafe with my girlfriend. We ordered the Laksa Soup, Chicken/Porkchop and a side of veggies. Food was great. Very fresh and quick service. Staff was also very friendly and accommodating. Definitely a recommended spot.
First time trying. Chinese/Cantonese style food. Pretty good. Nice decor. Recommend a visit.
This place is horrible. Both food and service. Won't come back. As an Asian I do not recommend this place.
Nice server and big portion of food.
Food was good, except for the shaved ice dessert which was simply a block of ice and sugar. For such a small place, service was nowhere to be found at 930pm. Was not very busy at the time.
I have been going to this cattle cafe since they were still on the other side of the building they are situated in, and the quality of the dishes and the price for portions are still exceptional. The curry there is super good as well as the noodles. For a HK Cafe, the selection is huge and most dishes will not disappoint.
Vegetables are not cleaned probably. Found a small bug in the gai lan.
Excellent service with relaxed ambience for a Chinese style Café. The manager, Eric, made us feel like we are in a high class restaurant. Food is good with fresh ingredients and pretty large portion. Will definitely go again when we will be in that area ðŸ‘ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
Typically HK-style cafe. I love their deep fried steam buns! Better than their braised beef brisket with noodle in my opinion. Maybe should’ve tried their signature noodle combos instead!
A popular Hong Kong diner chain offering the standard Hong Kong diner fare. A bit higher quality than your usual run of the mill, expect to pay in the middle 10s, as opposed to the usual low 10s. The service is about average attentiveness, and the food comes out quickly.
Food was fine. Service is slow.
